When it comes to a quick sweet treat, candy bars are my jam (or anything chocolate for that matter)! I can’t help but be inspired by some of my favorite flavors, and thus have created cake versions of my favorite candy bars. These recipes make perfect birthday cakes for those who love these specific candy bars or just a fun and unique baking project if you need one:
Snickers Cake
With decadent chocolate cake layers, thick caramel peanut filling, creamy chocolate peanut butter nougat, and chocolate buttercream, this cake tastes just like a Snickers bar in cake form!

One reader says:“This cake was delicious and cute! I already have a request to make this cake for my nieces birthday. Thanks for a great recipe. And BTW I could eat the peanut caramel filling and nougat filling by themselves, they are dangerously good!” ★★★★★
Milky Way Cake
This cake version of a Milky Way candy bar features rich chocolate cake layers, fluffy chocolate nougat, thick and gooey caramel filling, and chocolate buttercream.

One reader says: “I made this recipe for my 9 year old’s birthday this year and it was absolutely divine. Everyone loved it!” ★★★★★
Almond Joy Cake
Fluffy coconut cake layers with silky chocolate ganache filling, sliced almonds, and coconut-almond buttercream. The ideal cake version of an Almond Joy!

One reader says: “My mother loves coconut and for her 85th birthday I made this beautiful and scrumptious Almond Joy Cake. She and the whole family LOVED it. Can’t wait to have a reason to make and eat it again!” ★★★★★
Twix Cake
This cake version of a Twix features layers of soft vanilla cake, thick caramel filling sprinkled with baked shortbread cookie crumbles, and decadent chocolate buttercream.

One reader says:“I love the Twix cake. Out of all of your cakes I have made (I lost count) this one was my favorite!” ★★★★★
I hope you get a chance to try some of these cake recipes inspired by my favorite candy bars! I can’t wait to add more to the collection. If there’s a candy bar you love that isn’t on this list, let me know in the comments and I’ll see about making a cake version!
